Health Ministry: Two new coronaviruse cases registered in Ras al-Ma’ara town in Damascus countryside

Damascus, SANA-Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that two new coronaviruse cases were registered in Ras al-Ma’ara town in Damascus countryside for tow congenial persons, raising the total infections to 146 ones in Syria.

The Ministry added in a statement that the total infections in Syria reached 146 until today, 62 of them have recovered and 6 others have died.

The Health Ministry announced Sunday that 16 new coronavirus cases were registered in Ras al-Ma’ara town in Damascus Countryside raising the total of the registered cases to 141.

It indicated that the infected people were in close contact with the infected truck driver who works on the Syrian-Jordanian route.

The first case of coronavirus was detected in Syria on March 22nd, 2020.
