Aid convoy sent to Aleppo Western countryside

Aleppo, SANA- A humanitarian aid convoy was sent to the families in the western countryside of Aleppo on Sunday.

The convoy was organized by Aleppo governorate in cooperation with the United Nations Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) branch in Aleppo.

“The convoy,” said member of Aleppo social affairs provincial council Dr. Abdul-Ghani Kassab “included 17 trucks carrying relief, food, blankets, utensils, medicine and nutritional supplements enough for around 7000 families.”

He affirmed that the convoy is part of the convoys that had been sent to different areas and neighborhoods in the province to provide humanitarian aid for needy civilians in Aleppo.
