Damascus, SANA- The People’s Assembly on Sunday held the 11th session of its 12th regular round of its 2nd legislative term, chaired by Speaker Hammoudeh Sabbagh.
Sabbagh affirmed that the victories achieved by the Syrian Arab Army in Aleppo western and northwestern countryside against terrorism and its supporters constitute a victory for all humanity.
Sabbagh said that Syria is moving ahead towards the coming liberation battles with faith and confidence under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad.
In turn , MPs hailed sacrifices and bravery of the Syrian Arab Army personnel and support from friendly and allied countries, affirming the importance of going ahead in the fight against terrorism until the last grain of the Syrian soil is cleared from it.
The MPs indicated that the army’s victories had a great role in re-opening Aleppo- Damascus international highway, putting Aleppo International Airport into service again, and creating conditions to start reconstruction process.
