Moscow, SANA_ The adviser of the leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran to international affairs Ali Akbar Velayati has said that Iran continues to support Syria in its war against terrorism.
During a session of Valdai Discussion Club in Moscow on Friday, Velayati added that Iran’s advisory presence in Syria is legal and coordinated with Damascus while the presence of US and some Western countries’ forces is illegal and without the consent of the Syrian government.
He pointed out that the advisers will return to Iran when the Syrian government requests that.
