Updated-Two children killed, 12 civilians injured due to terrorist attacks in Damascus, its Countryside. and Aleppo

Provinces, SANA- One child was killed and another civilian got injured due to terrorist shell attacks by Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists on al-Qalaaji Square in the neighborhood of al-Nile street in Aleppo.

“Terrorists holed up in the western outskirts of Aleppo on Friday targeted with two rocket shells al-Qalaji Square in the al-Nile Street in the province, killing a child, injuring another civilian and causing  material damage,”  SANA reporter quoted a source at Aleppo Police Command as saying.

Later, a child was killed in Aran village in al-Bab area in the eastern countryside of the province due to the explosion of a mine from the remnants of Daesh (ISIS) terrorist organization.

On February 2, terrorist organizations fired a rocket shell on al-Sulaimania neighborhood which fell on the Post Building, causing material damage to it.

Terrorist organizations have been targeting Aleppo city with dozens of shells in a desperate attempt to influence the normal life prevailing in the city after the restoration of security and stability to it.

11 civilians injured due to shelling attacks in Damascus and its countryside

11 civilians were injured in a shelling attack carried out by armed groups positioned in Eastern Ghouta on residential neighborhoods of Damascus and its Countryside, in a new violation of the de-escalation zone agreement.

A source at Damascus Countryside Police Command stated that three shells fired by the armed groups fell on al-Homsi neighborhood and the perimeter of the footbridge in Jaramana city, injuring five civilians, two of them in critical condition.

The source added that the armed groups fired five mortar shells on al-Abassyieen area in Damascus, injuring two civilians and causing material damage to houses and properties, in addition to firing a shell on al-Zablatani neighborhood and two shells on al-Qeshleh area in Old Damascus, causing material damage.

The source added that four civilians were injured, one of them in critical condition, when armed groups hit al-Dwail’a neighborhood with mortar shells. The attack also caused a fire and material damage.

Commander of the Damascus Fire Brigade Ali Hassan told SANA’s correspondent that one of the mortar shell fired by armed groups hit a fuel tank on the roof of a two-story house in al-Dwail’a neighborhood, causing an explosion and a fire, adding that firefighters managed to extinguish the flames in time and saved the lives of the residents.

The Syrian Arab Army retaliated by launching accurate strikes against the area from which the shells were fired, which resulted in eliminating a number of mortar launchers and inflicting heavy losses upon the armed groups.
