Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will rise to become from 3 to 5 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by northwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds while the weather will be cold at night, warning of frost in the mountains and fog in some inland areas.
The wind will be of changeable direction to southeasterly with a low speed and the sea waves will be of a low height.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 16/4, Daraa 17/5, Homs 16/4, Lattakia 21/11, Aleppo 15/3 and Deir Ezzor 17/5.
